AH! A SUMMER DANCE PROGRAM
AH! SUMMER DANCE PROGRAM is a week-long series of workshops that promote movement creation and experimentation through an array of contemporary dance languages and improvisational techniques. This year’s programming, curated by Spenser Theberge and Bret Easterling, will be split to separately focus on pre-professional dance students and professional dance artists in order to speak more directly to the participant’s relationship with the art form and offer perspectives to help guide them through the rapidly changing landscape of the field.
WEEK ONE (July 21-25, 2025)
designed for pre-professional artists ages 13-17 looking to invest in their craft and learn more about dance in college and as a career
WEEK TWO (July 28-August 1, 2025)
designed for professional artists ages 18+ looking to inspire their practice and connect with potential collaborators

TESTIMONIALS
“As a dancer entering the professional field, this program provided me with so many tools to help me do so. I left feeling so supported by those around me, and with greater belief in myself and my success.”
AH! 2023 Participant
“The experience was not only incredibly well-rounded, informative, and engaging, but also such a fun environment to learn in. All the faculty were so open and willing to lean into and encourage a sense of play amongst the dancers, which resulted in an incredibly energized, exciting space to dance and grow together.”
AH! 2024 Participant
“I walked out of the program having re-ignited my relationship to myself inside of dance. It gave me the opportunity to confront, question, and ultimately find the answers I was looking for. “
AH! 2024 Participant
“I really liked that many of the teachers also participated in so much of the workshop! I have not been to a summer program in the past where this occurred so frequently and I found it to be such a rare and special experience. I was able to learn so much both by taking class from and dancing alongside such knowledgeable and experienced artists and I also felt further encouraged to take risks and participate wholeheartedly.”
