LONG DISTANCE

Inspired by the Japanese Wind Phone created by Itaru Sasaki, LONG DISTANCE tells the story of two people who construct a phone booth to serve as a conduit to communicate with lost loved ones. Through this ritual and their movement, we observe the catharsis of releasing words long withheld upon the wind. This short film is directed by Austin Tyson with cinematography by Angelo Vasta, performed by Rebecca Margolick and Austin Tyson, and with an original score by Hannah Epperson.
